Data Cataloging Working Group

Developing and curating the RDC Data Catalog and highlighting its datasets

The Data Cataloging group developed and curates the IU Research Data Commons Data Catalog, which is a collection of datasets and metadata that have been acquired by Indiana University. The purpose of the Data Catalog is to help campus researchers discover data available for use, and to reduce redundancies in data acquisition. That Catalog highlights datasets that may be hard to access due to licenses or other restrictions and help make them available to be reused by IU researchers.
